Even though the painting is smaller in size, it drained twice as much energy from me as some of the larger ones. I remember, as a child, the fear the rooster instilled in me—his sharp, furious gaze. I wanted to capture that moment of attack, the essence of his untamed aggression.
The first canvas I touched after years of silence, yet the last to find completion. A piece born from the echoes of my music school days and the gaze of the director.

Once again, music found its way out of me, this time inspired by the folk melodies of Vojvodina. The rhythms of the region moved me, guiding my hands to capture their essence.
